In order to make your journey as comfortable as possible, we have described a number of ways to get to the centre of SkiDo Dolomites:
- BY CAR
Monguelfo/Welsberg is centrally located in the Pusteria Valley, between Brunico and San Candido.
Exit the A22 Brennero motorway at Bressanone nord/Val Pusteria and take the E66 road following the signs for San Candido. You’ll reach Monguelfo in about 40 min.
Arriving from Venice on A27 Belluno motorway exit at Ponte delle Alpi and following the SS51 road you’ll pass at Cortina d’Ampezzo and Dobbiaco. From there follow the signs for Brunico and reach Monguelfo in 5km. (from Ponte nelle Alpi about 1,5 h).
Once you have arrived, your car will remain in its parking space for your entire holiday. For a trip to the ski areas Plan de Corones and Three Peaks Dolomites, you can use the comfortable ski train reaching the cableway stations within 15 min. Free train-tickets for our guests.

- BY TRAIN
There are good EC connections from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium. You drive via Munich, Innsbruck, Brenner/Brennero to Franzensfeste/Fortezza. Arriving from Italy, you take the train via Verona and Bozen/Bolzano to Fortezza. In Fortezza, you change to the trains of Val Pusteria (Fortezza – Innichen/San Candido) and travel to Welsberg/Monguelfo! Let your hotel know when you arrive, and we will be happy to pick you up at the station.

The nearest international airports are: Verona, Bergamo, Milano, Treviso, Venezia, Innsbruck and Munich. Inform your hotel of your arrival and upon request, we can send you an Air-Taxi for your transfer to Monguelfo.
